Air Charter Service (ACS) has appointed Katie Ivie – the company’s HR director – to its board of directors.
She has held a number of human resources management roles over the past 20 years, including seven years as HR director at Kelly Services.
Prior to this, Ivie spent almost four and half years as head of HR at Adecco, which followed on from holding the same position for four years at one of their subsidiaries. She joined ACS just over 18 months ago in the role of HR director.
ACS’s chairman, Chris Leach said: “We are delighted to welcome Katie to the Board. Over the past year and a half ACS has continued to expand across the globe, with several offices opening since Katie joined; and we recently reached 500 employees.
“We have always felt that we are a people business and over the past 18 months we have expanded our recruitment team. Katie has played a key role in helping to recruit and retain the best talent that we have, through effective training and reward programmes.
“In addition to this, she has introduced software efficiencies to our HR process, including online Learning Management Systems, which aim to create a global standard of knowledge, processes and, above all, the same service quality around the world.
“Katie’s appointment is with immediate effect and we are sure that she will be a welcome addition to our Board.”
