Coastair Chartering to build second line warehouse at Liege Airport

Coastair Chartering yesterday confirmed at Air Cargo Africa in Johannesburg that it has signed a contract to take on second line warehouse at Liege Airport (LGG) in Belgium.

Managing director, Ronny Samaey (pictured left) said the 2,500 square metre warehouse is located at airport grounds in Grace-Hollogne/Liege and it is the next logical step in the evolution of Coastair’s airline product, Imperial Cargo Airlines – which serves African destinations.

He added: “We are in the process of becoming secured warehouse which will enable us to build-up our own pallets and secure cargo at our facilities.

“Together with shorter unloading times and own staff for the build-up/break-down of cargo will bring us in a better position to serve our customer with all their logistic challenges at LGG Airport.”
