Double-digit freight growth for Turkish in November

Turkish Cargo continued its double-digit growth figures as cargo/mail tonnage surged 25 per cent in November compared to the same month last year.

The carrier said the main contributors to this growth in cargo/mail volume, were North America with an uplift of 45 per cent, Africa with 32 per cent, the Far East with 23 per cent and Europe with a 21 per cent increase.

In the first 11 months of the year, Turkish Cargo through its extensive freighter network and belly network via parent carrier Turkish Airlines handled 1.3 million tonnes, a rise of 25 per cent on the same period last year.
