Saudia Cargo enters into agreement with Gallup to boost staff performance

Saudia Cargo has entered into a three-year agreement with global management consultancy Gallup to develop employee performance and also to improve the retention of staff at the air cargo carrier.

The move is part of the airline’s Strategy 2020 initiative, which aims to turn the Saudi Arabia into a major global logistics platform in line with the country’s Vision 2030. The agreement will involve studying employee trends and monitoring their performance levels.

Saudia Cargo chief executive, Omar Hariri (pictured above) said the agreement aims to “create and implement clear strategy and vision to increase the company’s client base” and launch an internal programme “speeding up the implementation of the transformation strategy and creating a conducive environment that enhances a culture of sharing”.

He added that Gallup will provide consultations to executive officers and directors of departments to help them achieve and surpass the expectations of clients.
