YTO Airlines on Monday started a direct air cargo route linking the capital of China’s Henan Province Zhengzhou and the Japanese capital Tokyo, according to Chinese online news service Xinhua.
This is the first freighter route between Tokyo and Zhengzhou. The five-weekly service will be operated by a Boeing 757 cargo aircraft.
YTO Airlines is the aviation arm of the express delivery company YTO Express, which has 82 logistics distribution centres in China and business in 150 countries and regions across the globe.
The carrier has a fleet of 11 freighters and is aiming to expand this to 25 by 2020.
